#16 Malone Huskies Vs Canton Golden Bears May 6 2014
Malone's Emily Marshall (7) waits on Canton's Lauren Smith (7) for the tag on the attempted steal of third base. The #16 Malone Huskies would host the Canton Golden Bears in Section X action. The Huskies would take the 3-0 lead in the third inning with the help of Anna Sharlows RBI single. The Huskies would add another run in the fourth to make it 4-0 on Erin McDonald's RBI single. Then in the fifth, they would extend the lead to 6-0 with two runs with the help Janelle Headen's RBI single. The Huskies would take the quick 2-0 lead in the first. Then in the third inning the Huskies would break it open with six runs in the third inning as they would bat around and take an 8-0 lead. Then in the fourth inning they would add a pair of runs to extend the lead to 10-0. Then in the 6th and 7th, they would get single runs to secure the 12-0 win. In the winning effort for the Huskies Allisa McCauley would strike out fifteen and give up two hits in the shutout victory and start the season off at 1-0. Gallery

Malone's Allissa McCaulley (6) in the whind up as she deliveries the strike for the strike as part of a fifteen strike two-hit shutout. The Malone Huskies would host the Massena Red Raiders in the home opener to start the Section X season. The Huskies would take the quick 2-0 lead in the first. #2 Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs #7 Madrid-Waddington Yellowjackets May 22 2013
Chateaugay's Rachel Young (3) slides in safe at the plate under the tag of the Madrid-Waddington catcher at the plate on a passed ball. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Madrid-Waddington Yellowjackets in Section X Class D Quarterfinal playoff action. The Yellowjackets would start off with upset on there mind as they would get single runs in the first and second inning to take a 2-0 lead. Then the Yellowjackets would get two in the third to make it 4-0 Yellowjackets. Although at the bottom of the third the Bulldogs would get on the broad with 3 runs to make it 4-3. They would then pull ahead in the bottom of the fourth with four runs to make it 7-4. Then before the fifth could be started the rains would come and the umpires would hold the game up and later suspended due to unplayable field conditions. The game was scheduled to be resumed on May 23 but rain would postpone the game again and now scheduled to be restarted on Tuesday, May 28th. Gallery
Northern Adirondack Conference Softball: Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers May 18 2013

Chateaugay's Hannah Cook (11) charges on the grounder to shortstop and fires to first for the out to end the game. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Parishville-Hopkinton Panthers in doubleheader east division action. The Bulldogs would make easy work of the Panthers in the opening game as they would take the 22-9 victory. Then when the teams would return for the second game the Panthers would give them a better fight although the Bulldogs would still get the 9-2 victory. With the wins, the Bulldogs will secure a first-round home game as they go to 11-4 on the season. In the winning effort, Courtney Boyea would strike out four. Gallery

Chateaugay's Hannah Cook (11) with the tag on St. Regis Falls Stawell (38) trying to stretch the single into a double. he Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the St. Regis Falls Saints in a doubleheader of softball action inside the eastern division. In the first game the Bulldogs would get off to a quick start and get seven runs to take the 7-0 lead. Then in the second, they would come back with five more runs to extend the lead to 12-0. Then they would add two more in the third to make it 14-0. Then they would end the slaughter in the fourth with five more runs to secure the 19-0 win. When the teams would return for the second game it would start with both teams trading runs in the first to make it 1-1. They would do it again in the third inning to make it 2-2. In the fourth inning the Bulldogs would get four runs while the Saints get one to make it 6-3 bulldogs. In the fifth inning the Saints would do there best to get back in it but they would fall short at 6-5. In the winning effort Courtney Boyea would pitch 6 innings and strike out six. With the two wins the Bulldogs go to 8-4 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Hannah Cook (11) with the catch at shortstop on the low liner for the out. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Madrid-Waddington Yellow in a doubleheader of east division action. The Bulldogs would score there runs in bunches in both games. In-game 1 they would get four in the first inning to make it 4-0. The Yellow Jackets would get one back to make it 4-1. That is where the game would remain until the fourth inning when the Bulldogs would get five more to secure the 9-1 win. In the win of game one, Abby Barnes would lead the offense going 2-3 with 3 RBI's Courtney Boyea would go the distance on the mound in the win striking out six. In-game two it would be more of the same as the Bulldogs would get three in the first to make it 3-0. They would add another three in the second to make it 6-0 Bulldogs. The Yellow Jackets would get on the broad in the fourth to make it 6-1. Leading the offense in game two would be Rachel Young as she would go 1-2 with 2 RBI's. On the mound, Courtney Boyea and Rachel Young would combine to strike out three and give up one run on one hit. With the sweep, the Bulldogs improve to 6-4 on the season. Gallery
