The Red Storm would answer right back on Jarrett Ashton's second touchdown of the night and regain the 14-8 lead. On the next Patriots possession, Matthew Pray would break it 80 yards and the Patriots would take the 16-14 lead back. Although the Red Storm would strike again on a Jacob Shipman 50 yard touchdown reception to give the Red Storm the 22-16 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the second half the Patriots defense would step up and take charge of the game. The Patriots would retake the lead at 24-22 on a Luis Perez 8 yard reception and score with just under 5 minutes left in the third quarter. The Patriots would extend there lead to 30-22 a 71-yard touchdown run for Matthew Pray his second of the game Then with just under 8 minutes left in the game Jarrett Ashton would get his third touchdown of the game and tie the game at 30. The Patriots would regain the lead at 38-30 with 6:30 left in the game on Matthew Pray's third touchdown of the game and secure the 38-30 win.
