Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Boy's Hockey Beekmentown Eagles Vs Plattsburgh Hornets Hannah Hope Fund Game February 10th 2017

Beekmantown's Kaden Kolawaski (18) with a quick wrister in close for the goal. It would be a match between crosstown rivals for a good cause. As the Beekmantown Eagles would match up with the Plattsburgh Hornets in CVAC action. The Hornets would answer the bell first as they score 1:30 into the first period on Paul Fine-Lease's goal. The game would stay there till 2:34 into the second period when Plattsburgh's Seth Atwood would light the lamp to make it 2-0. The Hornets would expand there lead to 3-0 on Ben Champagnes' goal in the last 3 minutes of the second period. Although the Eagles would not give up the fight as they would score in the 6-minute mark of the third period on the Kaden Kowlaski goal. Although it would not be enough as the Hornets would secure the 3-1 victory and go to 10-4-1 while the Eagles fall to 7-9-1 on the season. Gallery

Beekmantown's Hayden King (21) with the crunching hit along the side boards. It would be the opening game of the Beekmantown Holiday Tournament featuring the Beekmantown Eagles and the Rye Garnets. The Garnets would not take long to take control of the game as they would score twice in the first period for the 2-0 lead. In the second period they would add one more to extend there lead to 3-0. In the third period, the Rye offense would open up with three goals. The Eagles would give up some fight they would add a goal from Matthew Maggy. Although it would not be enough as the Eagles would fall to the Garnet 6-1 and fall to 1-3-1 on the season. Gallery

Northeastern Clinton's (25) and (19) with the tag hit along the boards on the Pelican. The Northeastern Clinton Cougars would meet up with the top team in the state the Pelham Pelicans as part of the Beekmantown Holiday Tournament. The teams would be equal throughout the first period as they would trade goals to and be tied at 1 after the first period. In the second period, the Pelicans would show why they are the number 1 team in the state as they would score four goals and extend there lead to 5-1. In the third period, they would continue and put the icing on the cake with two more goals. With that, the Cougars would fall to the Pelicans 7-1 and fall to 2-1 on the season. Gallery

Beekmantown would show their dominance from the start of the game as they would get two goals in the first from Nathan Trombley and Seamus Andrews to lead 2-0 after the first. In the second period, the Eagles would break the game open as they would score four times from Christian Wawrzynski (twice), Josh McCauley, and Nathan Hebret to lead 6-0. In the third period, the Eagles would add two more for the icing on the cake from Kade Collins, and Kaden Kowalasaki to secure the 8-0 victory.
