Beekmantown's Willam Colvard (28) takes it around the edge for the score. It would be Week 5 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference and it would be a battle for first place as the Plattsburgh Hornets would host crosstown foe the Beekmantown Eagles. The game would take a bit to get going as the Hornets would take the 6-0 lead at the 6:26 mark of the second quarter when Cameron Colburn would score off a 31-yard strike. The Eagles would march back down the field and tie the game up on a Christain Moura 13 yard run at 8:59 of the second quarter. Although in the closing seconds of the half the Hornets would take the 12-6 lead into the break on the 4-yard pass to Zack Bieber. It would take most of the third quarter although the Eagles would take the 14-12 lead on a Christain Moura 13 yard run at 8:33. Just two minutes later they would extend there lead on the Brandon Belrose keeper for the 20-12 lead. In the early moments of the fourth, it would go to 22-12 on the Beekmentown safety. Then the eagles would extend the lead to 28-12 on the touchdown pass. Although the Hornets would answer right back 25 seconds later on the touchdown pass to Zack Bieber to make it 28-18. Then in the final three minutes of the game, the Eagles would put it away on a 4 yard run by William Colvard to secure the 34-18 victory. Champlain Valley Athletic Conference - Week 4 - Beekmentown Eagles Vs Peru Indians - September 22nd 2018

Beekmantown's Jalen Belrose (1) with the leaping catch along the sidelines for the interception as part of a four-touchdown and two interception day. It would be week 4 of the Champlain valley athletic conference season and we feature probably the biggest game of the season the Beekmantown Eagles and Peru Indians. It wouldn't take long for the Eagles to take the 6-0 lead on a 65-yard touchdown reception by Jalen Belrose 1:15 into the game. Peru would come right back and take a 7-6 lead two minutes later on the 17-yard pass to Austin Carpenter. The Indians would extend there lead to 14-6 on Austin Carpenters' second touchdown of the quarter with 1:13 left in the quarter. The Eagles would get the game to 14-12 at 3:38 of the second quarter on the Jalen Belrose 33 yard reception. The Eagles would regain the lead at the 8:41 on Jalen Belrose third touchdown of the first half and make it 18-14. The game would stay there til 8 seconds into the 4th quarter when the Eagles extend there lead to 25-14 on Willam Colvard 30 yard reception. The Eagles would score again at 9:15 on Jalen Belrose 13 yard run for his fourth score of the game to make it 32-14. Although the Indians would keep fighting and make it 34-21 on a 5-yard pass to Robert Reynolds. With the 32-21 win, the Beekmantown Eagles go to 4-0 while the Peru Indians fall to 2-2 on the season. It would be week 4 of the Champlain valley athletic conference season and we feature probably the biggest game of the season the Beekmantown Eagles and Peru Indians. It wouldn't take long for the Eagles to take the 6-0 lead on a 65-yard touchdown reception by Jalen Belrose 1:15 into the game. It would be Section VII Wrestling Championships from Saranac with all five schools competing for the right to head to the state finals in Albany. At the end of the day and the fifteen weight classes were done the team champion would be Saranac. As for the outstanding wrestler at the meet, the win would go to Chance Lapier from Ausable Valley. #2 Beekmantown Eagles Vs #3 Peru Indians - October 21 2017

Peru's Kasen Brennan (26) carries the defender into the endzone for the winning score with under two minutes left in the game. It would be a classic match this time though in the playoffs as the #2 Beekmantown Eagles would host the #3 Peru Indians in the Class B Semmi-Finals. Peru would get the first score of the game at 8:58 of the first quarter on a 30 yard fumble recovery to make it 7-0. The Indians would extend the lead to 14-0 in the first few seconds of the second quarter on a 7 yard pass to Alex Rine. The Beekmantown Wagles would cut the lead in half on a 38 yard run by Cristobal Arzola to make it 14-7 at 1:58 of the second quarter. Then at the 5:06 mark of the second quarter the Eagles would tie the game at 14 on a 20 yard run by Dylan Hazel. The game would stay there til the 4th quarter when the Beekmantown Eagles would take the 21-14 lead on a 25 yard quarterback keeper from Brandon Belrose. The Indians would march right back down and score on a 10 yard pass to Robert Reynolds although they would miss the extra point to make it 21-20 with 8 minutes left. Then from that point on the game would get very questionable as there was alot of very questionable calls that would go against Beekmantown. With that going on the Indians would get the eventual game winning score with 1:50 left in the game on Kasen Brennan 12 yard run for the 26-21 victory. In the winning effort the Peru Indians go to 2-6 and have a date with the Plattsburgh Hornets for the Class B Championships and the Beekmantown Eagles season comes to a end at 4-4. Gallery.

It would be the last week of the regular season in the C.V.A.C. and the Saranac Chiefs would host the Beekmantown Eagles. The Eagles would get the first score of the game on a Matthew LaValley 2 yard run 2:53 into the first quarter. The Eagles would extend there lead in the closing minute of the first quarter on a Brandon Belrose 12 yard run for the 14-0 lead. In the second quarter Matthew LaValley would get his second score of the game on at 1 yard run at 6:55 of the second quarter for the 21-0 lead. Then in the closing seconds of the half, the Eagles would add a 21-yard field goal for the 24-0 lead at intermission. At the 9:59 mark of the third quarter the Eagles would extend the lead to 31-0 on a 19 yard run by Dylan Hazel. In the fourth quarter, the Eagles would end the scoring with a 17-yard pass to Evan Brunell for the 38-0 victory. Moriah's Braden Swan (1) steps in front of the route and intercepts the pass intended for Ausable Valley's Luis Perez (3). It would be the last week of the regular season and Ausable Valley would be hosting #12 Moriah Vikings. This would be a game that Vikings would be in complete control from start to finish. The Vikings would score twice in the first quarter on a couple 2 yard plays one to Jerin Sargent and the other to Connor Anderson for the 14-0 lead. In the second quarter, it would be more of the same as the Vikings would score three more times. This time scoring would be Dewey Snyder 2 yard run, Jerin Sargent 85 yard strike, and Flack on a three-yard run to have the 35-0 lead at halftime. When the teams came back for the second the Vikings would step off the gas and coast through the second half getting just one more score to secure the 41-0 victory. In the winning effort, the Vikings finish the regular season at 6-1 while the Patriots go to 1-6. Gallery.

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Soccer Plattsburgh Hornets Vs Beekmantown Eagles September 18th 2017

Plattsburgh's Hannah Glicksman (2) shields the ball from Beekmantown's Danielle Dyke along the sidelines.It would be C.V.A.C. Girls Soccer action as the Plattsburgh Hornets would host the Beekmantown Eagles. The Eagles would opeming up the scoring in the 25th minute on Alyssa Waters goal. Then in the 36th minutes the Eagles would strike again on Danielle Dyke goal to extend the lead to 2-0 headed into the break. When the teams came back to play the Eagles would pick up where they left off as Alyssa Waters would strike again in the 51st minute to extend the lead to 3-0. The Eagles would get another to extend the lead to 4-0 on the Leah Casey goal in the 72nd minute. Then in the last minute of the game the Eagles would put it away on the Kirsten Villemaire goal to secure the 5-0 win. In the winning effort the Eagles would stay undefeated at 7-0.
