Duanesburg's Allison O'Hannah (30) takes it up and around Moriah's Maddie Eichen (10) as she charges down the lane for the score as part of a game-high 35 points. It would be the quarterfinals of the NYSPHSAA Girl's Basketball Class C Championship and it would be a battle of the top 25 teams as the #3 Duanesburg Eagles would travel up to Clinton Community College and take on the #25 Moriah Vikings from the host section VII. The upset-looking Vikings would get off to a good start as they would be doubling up the Eagles with a 9-4 opening quarter for the early lead. In the second quarter, the Eagles would start to cut into the lead of the Vikings as they would have a 10-6 quarter to give the Vikings the slight 15-14 lead at the intermission. When the teams would return for the second half the Eagles would come out soaring with a 12-3 quarter to take the eight-point lead of 26-18 into the fourth quarter. The Eagles would be too much in the fourth quarter as they would have a 25-11 quarter to close out the Vikings with the 51-29 victory. In the winning effort, the Eagles will advance to the New York State Final Four behind the 35-point performance of Allison O'Hannah while the Moriah Vikings season will end. Gallery
