Dark Knights Courtney drops down to catch low pass in the endzone for the score. It would be week 7 of the Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football League and it would pit #6 Dark Knight and #14 Morrisonville Midshipmen. It would be a game that the Dark Knights would be in control from the start as they would have a 30-6 lead at the break. In the second half, it would be more of the same with a little better fight from the Midshipmen as the Dark Knights would win it 42-18 to give them the 72-24 victory. With the win, the Dark Knights go to 3-3 while the Midshipmen fall to 3-4 on the season. Gallery.

Beekmentown Eagles Vs LaSalle Cadets January 9th 2015

Beekmantown's Kyle Constantly (44) with the flick of the wrist beats the goal on the glove side for the goal. It would be a nonleague matchup at the Plattsburgh State Field House as the #4 Beekmantown Eagles would meet up with the La Salle Cadets. It would be a game that Beekmantown would be in control from the drop off the puck. The Eagles would get the opening goal of the night from Ryan Waterbury at 6:52 of the first to make it 1-0. Then just over a minute later they would extend the lead to 2-0 on Chris Wawrzynski's goal. Then at 10:31 mark of the first, the Eagles would extend the lead to 3-0 on Josh McCauley's goal. Then with a couple of minutes left in the period, the Cadets would get on the board with a goal by Logan DiScanio to make it 3-1 Eagles after one. In the second period, Beekmantown's Josh Barriere would score twice about two minutes apart to make it 5-1 after two periods. Then in the third period, the Eagles would continue there offensive onslaught Kyle Constantly would score at 2:28 to make it 6-1 Eagles. Then just 15 seconds later the Cadets Zach Watkins would score to make it 6-2. Then just over three minutes later Eagles Kyle Constantly would score his second of the night to make it 7-2. Then at the 8:32 mark of the third Kyle Constantly would finish off the hat trick to make it 8-2. Then at the 9-minute mark, Mike Parent would get in on the act and make it 9-2. The Cadets would add a late one from Sam Brendesse to make it 9-3. Although it would not be enough as the Eagles would get the 9-3 victory. The player of the game would be Kyle Constantly who would have three goals and two assists on the night as the Eagles go to 9-0 on the season. Gallery

#5 Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Norwood-Norfolk Flyers January 8 2015

Chateaugay's Chandler Laplante (2) drives to the basket hard and gets the contact and basket for two of his ten points on the night. The #5 Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers in Section X East Division action. It would be a game that the Bulldogs would control from the opening tip throughout and have a 20-3 lead after the first quarter. The Bulldogs would win the second quarter 21-10 to have a 41-13 lead at the break. When the teams back from the intermission the Bulldogs would stay in control and win the quarter 15-7 and have a 56-20 lead after three. In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs would keep it up and win the fourth 14-7 and get the 70-27 victory. In the winning effort, Tyler Jones would lead the way with 14 points as the Bulldogs go to 6-1 on the season. Gallery.

Chateaugay's Danielle Cook (23) layup ahead of the defense as part of the game-high 14 points. The #14 Chateaugay Bulldogs would meet up with the St. Lawrence Larries in Section X action. It would be a game where the scoring would be at a premium. The Larries would have the 9-6 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Bulldogs would win the quarter 6-4 although they would trail 13-12 at the half. When the teams returned for the third quarter the Bulldogs would win the quarter 9-4 and take the 22-16 lead. In the fourth quarter, the Larries would have no answer the Bulldogs would win the quarter 10-4 to take the 32-20 win. In the winning effort, Danielle Cook (23) would lead the way with 14 points as the Bulldogs go to 4-2 on the season. Gallery.

Chateaugay Zack Cowan (23) gets hammered headed to the basket on the layup attempt down the lane. It would be a nonsectional matchup as the #3 Chateaugay Bulldogs would travel to Beekmantown and tangle with the Eagles. It would be a matchup between two evenly matched teams that would not see the lead get over at all during the contest. The Eagles would have the 14-8 lead after the first quarter. The Eagles would also win the second quarter 15-12 and take a 29-20 lead into the intermission. When the teams came back from the third quarter the Eagles would take the quarter slightly 12-10 and have a 41-30 lead headed into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs would go to the full-court press and the Eagles would have a hard time with it and the Bulldogs would win the quarter 21-12. Although it would not be enough as the Eagles would hold on for the 53-50 victory. In losing effort Zack Cowan would lead the way for the Bulldogs with 16 points for the Bulldogs as they fall to 6-1 on the season. Gallery

Saranac's Alex Zurio (5) would put the puck into the net for the Chief's goal on the scramble. The Saranac Chiefs would play the Shaker Colonie Jets in Non-League contest. The Shaker Colonie Jets would get the opening goal 5 minutes into the game to make it 1-0. The game would stay there till midway through the second period when Saranac's Alex Zurio would score on the scramble in front of the net to make it 1-1. From there are on out the goalies would be up to the task as the game would end in 1-1 tie. The Chiefs with the tie go to 1-5-1 on the season. Gallery

Buck Supply/WB Mason Cardinal Classic #7 Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs #15 Amherst Mammoths January 3 2015

Plattsburgh State's Aryton Valente (15) with the open-ice hit on the defender beside the net going for the loose puck. It would be the finals of the Buck Supply/WB Mason Cardinal Classic. It would be a battle of top 15 teams as the #7 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #15 Amherst Jeffersons. There would be no scoring throughout the game and overtime so the game went in the record books at 0-0 tie. Although because of the tournament there was shootout to determine the winner and the Jeffersons would get the 1-0 win. In losing effort Cardinal's Spencer Finney would be credited with the shutout stopping 31 shots as the Cardinals go to 10-2-1 on the season. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Michael Cassidy (26) with the shot as he is falling down as he is taken down from the behind on the breakaway. The #7 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host New England College Pilgrims in the Semi-Finals of the Cardinal Classic. The Cardinals would waste little time taking the 1-0 lead on Paul Fregeau's goal at 3:09 of the first period. Then just over three minutes later Paul Fregeau would score again to make it 2-0 Cardinals. Then at the 10:17 mark of the first Cardinal's Aryton Valente would score to make it 3-0 at the first intermission. The game would stay there until the 13:47 mark of the second period when Cardinal's Josh Koerner would score to make it 4-0. The game would stay there until the 7:43 mark of the third period when Paul Fegeau would finish the scoring and hat trick on the night. With the Cardinals would get the 5-0 victory and the goaltenders would combine for the shutout as they go to 10-2-2 on the season. Gallery.
