Beekmantown's Justin Stevens (22) runs over the defender for the first down on his way to setting the Section 7 Football single-season rushing total at 1,850 yards. The #1 Peru Indians would meet up with the #2 Beekmantown Eagles in New York State Section 7 Championship at Ausable Valley. The Eagles would strike first on a Justin Stevens touchdown run in the first quarter to make it 7-0. In the second quarter, Eagles Matt Villa would return the interception for the score to make it 14-0. Later in the quarter, the Indians would get on the board to make it 14-7 as they head to the half. In the third quarter, the teams would trade scores with Justin Stevens run to make it 21-7 Eagles headed to the fourth quarter the Indians would score twice in the quarter including Buddy Altizer game-winner with 12 seconds to give the Indians the 28-21 victory. In the winning effort, the Peru Indians would go to 9-0 and advance to the New York State Class B Playoffs against Malone. Even though the Eagles would lose Justin Stevens would set the single-season Section 7 rushing total at 1,850 yards. Gallery

Section 7 Class C Championship #1 Saranac Lake Red Storm Vs #3 Ausable Valley Patriots November 1 2014

Ausable Valley's Sultan Sikandar (8) with the fall backwards catch in the endzone for the score. The #1 Saranac Lake Red Storm would meet up with the #3 Ausable Valley Patriots in the Section 7 Football championships. The Red Storm would make easy work of the Patriots in the first half and take a 35-7 lead into the locker room. In the second half the Patriots would try there best to make a game of it but the defecit would be to big to overcome they would win the half at 16-7 but would fall 42-23. With the win the Red Storm head into the New York State Class C Playoffs against Ogdensburg while the Patriots season comes to an end at 2-7. Gallery

Saranac's Keegan Bulluck (21) dives over the defenders along the sidelines for the first down. The Saranac Chiefs (JV) would host the Ausable Valley Patriots (JV) in the last JV game of the season. The Patriots would take the 6-0 lead after the first quarter and hold on till late in the second quarter when the Chiefs would get on the board with a Johnny Devins touchdown to tie it at 6 at halftime. When the teams would come back for the second the Patriots would come to play and score three scores to make it 28-6. In the fourth quarter, the teams would trade sores including the big catch in the endzone by Saranac's Brandon Velie for the score as he rips it from the defender's hand. In the end, though the Patriots would get the 34-12 victory and finish the undefeated season at 8-0 while the Chiefs finish at 0-8. Gallery

Saranac's Dylan Clay (17) steps in front of the reciever and comes down with the interception. The #2 Saranac Chiefs would host the #3 Ausable Valley Patriots in Champlain Valley Atheltic Conference Class C Semi-finals. These two evenly matched teams would be scoreless until the second quarter when Patriots Jimmy Kelly would score to make it 7-0 Patriots. The game would stay there until 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter when Chiefs Mason Martin would score and they would get the two point conversation and take a 8-7 lead. Then on the ensuing Patriots drive two questionable calls would lead to the Patriots good field position and Jimmy Kelly would score from the one yard line with 25 seconds left on the clock to give the Patriots 14-8 victory. In the winning effort the Patriots advance to next weeks championship game against Saranac Lake Chiefs while the Saranac Chiefs season comes to end at 2-6. Gallery

The Saranac Chiefs would host the Peru Indians in Week 7 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season. The Indians offense would be in form as they would take the 14-0 lead after the 1st quarter. In the second quarter, it would be more of the same as they would extend the lead to 29-0. In the second half, it would be more of the same as they would outscore them 22-0 and get the 51-0 win. In the winning effort, the Peru Indians would finish off the regular season undefeated at 7-0 while the Chiefs would finish at 2-5. Gallery

Then when the teams came back for the second half they would pick up where they left off getting another score in the third to make it 20-6. Saranac's Caiden Goodman (2) with the touchdown after he catches the tip in the end zone. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Plattsburgh Hornets in the first-ever Saranac River Bowl. The Hornets would take the 6-0 lead on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter. The score would stay there till the third quarter when the Hornets would get a second rushing touchdown to make it 12-0. Then later in the third quarter, the Chiefs would get on the board on a Hunter Church touchdown to make it 12-6. Then with about four minutes left in the game Caiden Goodman would catch a tipped ball in the end zone and tie the game up at 12. Then after a very short punt by the Hornets, the Chiefs would get the ball back and George Miller would take it up the middle for the winning touchdown with under a minute for the 20-12 victory. In the winning effort, the Chiefs would improve there record 2-4 while the Hornets fall to 0-6 on the season. Gallery

Saranac's Caiden Goodman (2) with catch and takes it up sidelines and lowers the head and goes head to head with the Au Sable Valley defender. The Saranac Chiefs would travel down to Clintonville and take on the AU Sable Valley Patriots in week 5 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference football season. The Saranac Chiefs would take the 7-0 at 7:07 of the first quarter on Dylan Clay's block punt recovered in the endzone for the touchdown. Then just about two minutes later the Chiefs would extend the lead to 14-0 on Zack Martin's 4 yard run. Then three minutes into the second quarter Zack Martin would score again 1 yard out and take the 22-0 lead headed into the half. Then in the third quarter Caiden Goodman would score on the 15 yard reception to make it 29-0 at 9:03 of third. Then in the closing seconds of the third Hunter Church would score from three yards out to make it 36-0. Then in the opening minute of the fourth quarter Skinadar would put the Patriots on the board with the 6 yard touchdown reception to make it 36-7. Then with under 6 minutes left in the game Hunter Church would get his second touchdown of the night on a 14 yard run to make it 43-7. From there on the Chiefs would hold on for the 43-7 victory. In the winning effort, Zack Martin would run for 123 yards and 2 scores as the Chiefs get there first win of the season and go to 1-4 on the season while the Patriots fall to 1-4 on the season. The Saranac Chiefs would host the Beekmantown Eagles in Week 4 of the Champlain Valley season. The Eagles would take a 10-0 lead after the first on a touchdown by Justin Stevens and a field goal. The Eagles would extend the lead to 24-0 at the half on a pair of Tyler Newman touchdowns. When the teams came back for the third quarter the Eagles control would continue with Justin Stevens second and third touchdown to make it 38-0. Then in the fourth quarter, the Eagles would get two more scores an interception for a touchdown by Brandon Peryea and a running score by Handy to secure the 53-0 victory In the winning effort Justin Stevens would run for 246 yards and three touchdowns as the Eagles go to 3-1 while the Chiefs fall to 0-4 on the season. Empire Football League Semi-Finals #1 Plattsburgh North Stars Vs #4 Glens Falls Greenjackets September 27th 2014

Plattsburgh's Tevin Conners (3) would knock the ball loose as Mark Passaino (25) would bring down the runner and recovery the fumble. The #1 Plattsburgh North Stars would host the #4 Glens Falls Greenjackets in the Empire Football League Semi-finals. The North Stars would take the 13-0 lead after the first quarter on a pair of Matt Doucher touchdowns. Then in second-quarter Matt Doucher would get his third touchdown of the night along with a kick return for a touchdown. The Greenjackets would get on the board with an interception return to make it 29-7 at the half. In the second half the North Stars would pick up right where they left off as Matt Dourcher would add two more scores and Dexter Geoghan would get one as the North Stars cruise to the 53-14 victory. With the win, the Plattsburgh North Stars would host the Watertown Red Black for the championship. Gallery

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Week 2 Saranac Chiefs Vs Moriah Vikings September 13 2014

Saranac's Caiden Goodman (2) would take it around the edge and open field for a big gain. The Moriah Vikings would travel up to Saranac and take on the Chiefs in Champlain Valley Football action. The Vikings would jump out to a quick 21-0 lead after the first quarter with some help from some untimely turnovers from the Chiefs. In the second quarter it would be more of the same as the Vikings would get three more to make it 33-0 at the half. In the second half, the Chiefs would actually step up the defense and win the half 22-7. Their scores would come from Dillan Clay, Caiden Goodman, and George Miller. The final score would end up being Vikings 40 and Chiefs 22 as the Chiefs fall to 0-2 and Vikings go to 2-0 on the season. Gallery

Empire Football League Week 11 Plattsburgh North Stars Vs Watertown Red Black September 13 2014

Plattsburgh Harry Rascoe (13) lowers the shoulder and takes the hit before goes out of bounds for the first down. The Plattsburgh North Stars would host the Watertown Red Black in a battle for first place and home field in the playoffs. The game would start off good for the North Stars as Jake Pereve (4) would run back the opening kick 88 yards for the 7-0 lead. The game would stay there until the second quarter when the Red Black would tie the game up at seven. Then in the third quarter, the Red Black would score to make it 14-7 Red Black. Then early in the fourth the Red Black would make it 21-7 and would think the game was in hand then here would come the North Stars. The North Stars would make it 21-14 on a Harry Racoe score with 8 minutes left. Then with under two minutes, the Red Black would have to punt and the North Stars would charge down the field and Brett Boyer would score with 33 seconds left to tie the game at 21 and send it to overtime. In the overtime frame, Harry Rascoe would find Jamil McCray in the back of the end zone for the winning score for the 27-21. With the win, the Plattsburgh North Stars go to 9-2 on the season and win the Empire Football League regular season. Gallery

Empire Football League Week 6 Plattsburgh North Stars Vs Gloove City Colonials August 16 2014

The North Stars would jump out to a quick 14-0 lead in the 1st quarter on a touchdown by Harry Rascoe and interception by Brandon St John. In the second quarter, they would score twice more on a punt return by Jim Carlson and a running touchdown by Elija Parks for the 26-0 lead at the break. In the second half, it would be more of the same as they would get a pair of touchdowns to secure the 39-0 victory. With the win, the North Stars go to 5-1 on the season. The Plattsburgh North Stars would host the Glens Falls Greenjackets with the Mayors Cup on the line. The North Stars would take the quick 8-0 lead when Javon Piccock would run back the opening kick. Half way through the first quarter they would extend the lead to 14-0 on Tory Bouyea touchdown. In the second quarter the would get a pair of scores from Tory Bouyea and Brett Boyer for the 28-0 lead at the half. In the second half the North Stars would go into cruise mode and get one short touchdown from Elisa Parks and secure the 34-0 victory in the winning effort the North Stars would improve there record to 3-1 on the season. Empire Football League Week 1 Plattsburgh North Stars Vs Troy Fighting Irish June 28 2014

Plattsburgh's Greg Archer (55) with the wrap-up tackle on the inside on Troy running back trying to break throw. The Plattsburgh North Stars would host the Troy Fighting Irish in non-league action. The North Stars would take the 7-0 lead in the first on Dexter Geohagan touchdown. The North Stars would extend the lead to 13-0 on Dexter Geohagan touchdown. Later in the second quarter, the Fighting Irish would score two touchdowns and give the Fighting Irish the 14-13 lead at the half. In the third quarter, the Fighting Irish would extend there lead to 22-13 on another touchdown. That is where the game would stay until the 4th quarter when the North Stars would get a 35-yard field goal to make it 22-16. On the in suing kickoff the North Stars would recover the onside kick and a few plays later take it down the field and score on Dexter Geohagan's third touchdown of the day and give the North Stars the 23-22 lead. Although the lead would be short-lived as the Fighting Irish would go down the field on there next drive and take the lead back at 28-23 and hold on for the win. In the losing effort, the Plattsburgh North Stars fall to 1-1 on the season. The North Stars are now off till July 12th when they will hit the road to take on the Glove Cities Colonies. Gallery
