Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Potsdam Sandstoners September 25th 2017
Chateaugay's Valerie Titus (5) with the spike down the line for the point. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Potsdam Sandstones in Northern Adirondack Conference volleyball action. The Chateaugay would continue there perfect season with a straight-set victory over the Potsdam Sandstones with the 25-10, 25-14, and 25-21 victory. Dirtcar Sportsman Series & Leon Gonyo Memorial Airborne Park Speedway September 24th 2017
Brandon Ladouceur (15b), Gabriel Cyr (94), and Mike Stacey (23) with some good tight racing off of turn two in the Dirtcar Sportsman Northern Regional 50 lapper. It would be the last race weekend of the season at Airborne Park Speedway and it would feature the Dirtcar Sportsman Northern Region series along with the Leon Gonyo Memorial race. It would be a great afternoon at Airborne to bring the season to a close. The winners on the day would be Shawn Walker in the Strictly Stock, Cam Gadue in the Mini-Modifieds, and Brent Jarvis in the Renegades. As for the big races on the day, Alex LaJoie would win the Sportsman Modified regional race and Stephen Bernier would win the 358 Modified Leon Gonyo Memorial race. Also on this day points champions would be crowned in the Renegades Brent Jarvis, Mini-Modifieds Michael Whalen and in the Strictly Stock, it would go to Rolland Guay.
Team St. John Vs KC Photo Video Ram Rods September 24th 2017
KC Photo Video's Tevin Conners with the catch in the endzone over Team St. John's Ben Trombley. It would be the final game of the day between KC Photo Video Ram Rods and Team St. John in the North Country Flag Football League. It would be team KC Photo Video that would have the 8-0 lead in the first half. In the second half, KC Photo Video would keep it up and win the half 14-0 and secure the 22-0 victory. Team St. John's Garden Arnold with the catch on the shoulder-high catch for the first down. It would be game two weeks 3 of the North Country Flag Football League. The game would feature Team St. John and Team Downs. It would be a game where players would be at a premium so the game would be just one half and when the dust settled Team St. John would win 23-0. Team Malinik Vs Team Maulding September 24th 2017
Team Maulding Kenji Jones with the leaping catch over the middle in traffic. In-game 1 of week three of the North Country Flag Football League Team Malinik would take on Team Maulding. It would be a game that Malinik would control as they would have the 14-0 lead after the first half. In the second half, it would be more of the same as they would win the half 14-0 and secure the 28-0 victory. In the winning effort, Team Malinik would go to 4-0 while Maulding would fall to 1-2. Clinton County Fair Truck Pull Plattsburgh, NY July 21st 2017
Curtis Smith and his Chevy take it down the track for a top 3 in the Modified Street class. It would be the annual truck pull at the Clinton County Fair. There would be around 175 pulls in the 12 classes that were offered. The class would range from stock truck all the way up to the Pro Stock 4x4 Trucks. It would be a great show that was put on in front of the packed house. Gallery
Plattsburgh Hornets Vs Ausable Valley Patriots September 20th 2017
Plattsburgh's Madeleine Woodward (19) with the header out by midfield to keep the ball in the offensive zone. It would be a C.V.A.C. match up between the Plattsburgh Hornets and Ausable Valley Patriots The Hornets would get the opening goal in the 12th minute from Brina Michaels for the 1-0 lead. The Hornets would extend the lead to 2-0 in the closing minute of the first half when Brina Michaels would get her second goal of the game. The Hornets would jump right out in the second half and extend the lead to 3-0 when Madeleine Woodward would score in the 41st minute. In the 48th minute, Madeleine Woodward would strike again for the Hornets to make it 4-0. Then in the 63rd minute, the Patriots would get there lone goal of the game to make it 4-1. Then the 71st minute the Hornets would add one more from Tenzin Pema to secure the 5-1 victory. Gallery.
Plattsburgh Hornets Vs Ausable Valley Patriots September 19th 2017
Plattsburgh's Abdousabour Tidjani (18) comes in on the breakaway and puts the shot over the diving goalie for the score. It would be the Plattsburgh Hornets hosting the Au Sable Valley Patriots in C.V.A.C. action. This would be a game that would not be in doubt from the beginning as the Hornets would score 6 first-half goals from Nick Provost, Henry Wylie along with a couple of others. In the second half, it would be more of the same as the Hornets would add three more goals coming from Abdousabour Tidjami, and Andrew Follmer. As the Plattsburgh Hornets would secure the 9-0 victory. Gallery.
Plattsburgh Hornets Vs Beekmantown Eagles September 18th 2017
Plattsburgh's Madeleine Woodward (19) and Beekmantown's Rylee Fessette (7) battle for ball control in the corner of the Hornets zone. It would be C.V.A.C. Girls Soccer action as the Plattsburgh Hornets would host the Beekmantown Eagles. The Eagles would opening up the scoring in the 25th minute on Alyssa Waters goal. Then in the 36th minutes the Eagles would strike again on Danielle Dyke goal to extend the lead to 2-0 heading into the break. When the teams came back to play the Eagles would pick up where they left off as Alyssa Waters would strike again in the 51st minute to extend the lead to 3-0. The Eagles would get another to extend the lead to 4-0 on the Leah Casey goal in the 72nd minute. Then in the last minute of the game the Eagles would put it away on the Kirsten Villemaire goal to secure the 5-0 win. In the winning effort, the Eagles would stay undefeated at 7-0. Gallery.
Team St. John Vs Team Maulding September 17th 2017
Team Maulding's Chris Maulding with the catch and turn upfield for the big game. It would be Week 2 of the North Country Flag Football. In the third game of the day, it would feature Team St. John Vs Team Maulding. The first half would be a defensive battle as Team Maulding would have the narrow 3-0 lead. In the second half, the teams would trade scores at 8-8 to secure the 11-8 win for Team Maulding go to 1-1 while Team St. John goes to 0-2 on the season. Gallery
