Cortland State Red Dragons @ Plattsburgh State Cardinals February 16th 2018
Plattsburgh State's Taylor Claire (21) with the off-balance jumper along the baseline as part of 5 point night. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons as part of the last week of the regular season. It would be a low scoring game after the first quarter as the Red Dragons would have an 11-9 lead. In the second quarter the scoring would pick up but the Red Dragons would expand there lead with a 19-14 quarter for a 30-23 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter the trend would continue as the Red Dragons win the quarter 22-16 and take a 52-39 lead into the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Cardinals would do there best to make up the deficit as they would win the quarter 20-13 although it wouldn't be enough as the Red Dragons win 65-59. In the losing effort, Bela Depasquale would lead the way with 20 points as the Cardinals fall to 8-16 on the season. Gallery.
Fredonia State Blue Devils @ Plattsburgh State Cardinals February 10th 2018
Plattsburgh State's Rich McCartney (27) with the goal as he slides in to extend the lead. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Fredonia State Blue Devils in SUNYAC action in the home finale of the season. The game would be tight throughout and remain scoreless until 11:33 of the second period when the Blue Devils score to take a 1-0 lead. The Cardinals would tie the game up with 4 minutes remaining left in the second period on Rich McCartney's goal. Then at the 3:40 mark of the third period, the Cardinals would score twice in 20 seconds to make it 3-1 on Jesse Nehr and Rich McCartney's goal. The Blue Devils would score at the 12-minute mark on a penalty shot to cut the lead in half at 3-2. Then in the closing minute of the game, Aryton Valente would score the empty netter to secure the 4-2 victory. Section VII Wrestling Championships February 10th 2018
Saranac's Johnny Devins with the shoulder toss on Peru's Kellen Blake during the 152lbs finals. It would be Section VII Wrestling Championships from Saranac with all five schools competing for the right to head to the state finals in Albany. At the end of the day and the fifteen weight classes were done the team champion would be Saranac. As for the outstanding wrestler at meet, the win would go to Chris Lapier from Ausable Valley. Buffalo State Bengals @ Plattsburgh State Cardinals February 9th 2018
Plattsburgh State's Liam Lawson (39) draws back and puts it in the top shelf for the Cardinal goal. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host SUNYAC foe Buffalo State Bengals in conference action. Mike Falanga would get the scoring going early as he would give the Cardinals a 1-0 lead two minutes into the game. Although the game would stay like that until the 9:51 mark of the second period when Liam Lawson would score on the power play to make it 2-0. Then in the closing five minutes of the period the Bengals would score twice on the same power play to tie the game up heading into the final period. In the final period, the Bengals would take the lead on a goal in the final four minutes to make it 3-2 and would later add the empty netter to secure the 4-2 victory. In the losing effort Jimmy Peorda would make 35 stops as the Cardinals fall to 11-11 on the season. Gallery.
Oswego State Lakers @ Plattsburgh State Cardinals February 2nd 2018
Plattsburgh State's Eric Mack (23) hangs from the rim as he slams home two of his twelve points. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with the Oswego State Lakers in SUNYAC play. The game would be tight throughout the first quarter and the Cardinals would trail 38-35 after the first half. When the teams came back for the second it would be a different half as the Cardinals would cross to win the half 39-22 and in turn win the game 74-60. In the winning effort, Jonathan Patron leads the way with 27 points as the Cardinals go to 16-4 on the season. Gallery.

Show Me Your TD's receiver with the diving catch on the touchdown for the score. It would be the second semi-finals in the A Class Indoor Flag Football as #2 KC Photo Video would take on #3 Show Me Your TD's . KC Photo Video would show that they were the better team early as they would have a 31-12 lead at the intermission. When the teams came back for the second half it would be more of the same as they win the second half 34-8 to secure the 65-20 victory. In the winning effort KC Photo Video advances to the finals against North Country Auto Glass. Gallery.
#8 Geneseo State Knights @ Plattsburgh State Cardinals January 27th 2018
Plattsburgh State's Cam Owens (19) with the open ice hit on the Geneseo defender. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #8 Geneseo State Knights in SUNYAC play. The Knights would take the 1-0 lead on the lone goal of the first period. The Knights would add two more in the second period to make it 3-0. The Cardinals would get on the board with 5 minutes left in the second on Anthony Frounier Gosselien goal. In the the third period the offenses would come out as they the teams would combine for seven goal. The Cardinals would get three from Cole Stallard, Phillip Middleton, and Rich McCartney. Although it would be not enough as the Cardinals fall 7-4. In the losing effort Jimmy Poredoa would have 30 saves as the Cardinals fall to 10-9 on the season. Gallery.
#1 North Country Auto Glass Vs #4 Foster Sports January 27th 2018
North Country Auto Glass Joey Gillespie with the one-handed catch that he takes in for the touchdown. It would be North Country Auto Glass meeting up with Fosters Sports in the semi-finals of the A-Class Indoor Flag Football. North Country Auto Glass would have a 31-25 lead at the half in the tightly contested game. In the second half, defenses would come alive as North Country Auto Glass would win the half 8-2 and secure the 38-27 victory. In the winning effort, they advance to the championship game. Gallery.
Cortland State Red Dragons @ #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals January 21st 2018
Plattsburgh State's Kayla Menneghein (9) taps in the goal into the open net. It would be a beat between NEWHL conference foes as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Cortland State Red Dragons. The Cardinals would take the lead five minutes into the game on the Annie Katonka goal. The Red Dragons would tie the game at 1 on the power-play goal nine minutes into the first. The Cardinals although would regain the lead Kayla Menneghan goal with four minutes left in the first for the 2-1 lead after the first period. In the second period, the Red Dragons would get the lone goal of the period to tie it at 2. The Cardinals would regain the lead again on the Courtney Moriarty goal 4 minutes into the third period at 3-2. Then at the 9:46 mark of the third period, the Cardinals would extend there lead to 4-2 Kayla Meneghain second goal of the night. Then at 13:07, the Cardinals would put the icing of the cake on the Erin McCardle goal to secure the 5-2 victory. Brockport State Golden Eagles @ Plattsburgh State Cardinals January 20th 2018
Plattsburgh State's Zack Coleman (10) goes under and up the basket for the two points on the layup as part of a five-point night. It would be conference foes as Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Brockport State Golden Eagles. In the first half of the game, the Cardinals would take control of the game with a 54-27 lead. In the second half Eagles would do there best to come back as they win the half 53-39. Although it would not be enough as the Cardinals hold on for the 90-83 victory. In the winning effort, Brandon Johnson would lead the way with 16 points as the Cardinals go to 11-4 on the season. Gallery.
