Beekmantown's Edward Sweenor (55) with the wrister that beats the defender for the opening goal of the game although the Garnets would get the 7-2 win. It would be the championship of the 2024 edition of the Applebee's Winter Classic, featuring the #7 Rye Garnets and the Beekmantown Eagles from the Ronald B Stafford Ice Arena. The Eagles would get on the board at the 9:27 mark of the first period when Edward Sweenor scored for the 1-0 lead. Then, at the 12:19 mark of the period, the Eagles would return and extend their lead to 2-0 on the Jackson Deyo goal and take the lead into the first intermission. In the second period, the Garnet would fight back with two goals and tie the game at 2. When the teams returned for the third period, the Garnets would come out on fire and explode for five goals to secure the 7-2 victory and claim the 2024 Applebee's Winter Classic. As for the Beekmantown Eagles, they will finish 2nd in the Winter Classic and go to 3-3 on the season as Jack Bell would make 29 saves on the afternoon and will return to action on January 6th as they take on the Plattsburgh Hornets in the annual Hannah's Hope game. Rye's Sean Draddy (20) with the shot from the backdoor for the goal as the Garnets would get the 13-0 victory. It would be the opening game of the Applebee's Winter Classic, and it would see the #7 Rye Garnets from Section 1 taking on the Northeastern Clinton Cougars from Section VII. This would be a day that the Garnets would be in control from the start as they would get three goals in the first period and take the 3-0 lead. When the teams return for the second period, the Garnets stay in control as they come out and score five more goals, taking the 8-0. When the teams returned for the third period, the Garnets would not release the gas. They would add another five goals to secure the 13-0 victory and take on the Beekmantown Eagles tomorrow in the championship game. Gallery.

Beekmantown's Zach Lapier (19) slides it past the goalie for the score. It would be the championship game of the latest edition of the Applebee's Winter Classic and it would feature the #11 Rye Garnets and the host Beekmantown Eagles. The host Eagles would get off to a good start as they would score just 2:4 into the game on the Edward Sweenor goal. Then just under two minutes later the Eagles score again this time from Sam Bingel putting him just 1 point away from 100 points in his career. Then with 3:38 left in the first period, the Eagles would score again as Edward Sweenor would get his second of the game for the 3-0 Eagles lead. In the early moments of the second period, the Garnets would get on the board to make it a two-goal game on the Ryan Draddy goal. Then at the 5:02 mark of the second period the Eagles would get a goal lead back at 4-1 on the Zack Lapier goal but Sam Bingel would get the assist to secure his 100th career point. The Eagles would start to put the icing on the cake just 55 seconds after the Louis Swennor goal to give the Eagles the 4-1 lead. Then with three minutes left in the game freshmen Edward Sweenor would finish off his hat trick and give the host Eagles the upset 6-1 win and the Winter Classic title. Gallery.

It would be the second game of the 2023 edition of the Applebee's Winter Classic from the Ronald B Stafford Arena and it would feature the Northeastern Clinton Cougars and the Rye Garnet. In the opening period, the teams would combine for eight goals with the Rye getting six goals while Northeastern Clinton would get goals from Wayne Simpson and Owen Ebersole. In the second period, there would be another three goals as the Garnets would extend their lead to 8-3. In the third period, the teams would combine for another seven goals with the Garnets getting four goals and Cougars getting another three thanks to Owen Ebersole and Wayne Simpson as the Rye Garnet would get the 12-6 win. The winning effort the Rye Garnet will play the Beekmantown Eagles for the tournament title. While the Northeastern Clinton Cougars will get the Guilderland Storm in the 3rd place game. Gallery.

It would be the last game of the Applebees Winter Classic and the host Beekmantown Eagles would take on the Rye Garnets. The game would start off good for the home Eagles as they would get the opening goal of the game just 34 seconds in from (19) for the quick 1-0 lead. The game would stay there till the ten-minute mark of the period when Beekmantown's Reid Fessette would score to extend their lead to 2-0. When the teams came back for the second period the Garnets would find their offense and get on the board at the three-minute mark when Dempsey Brown would find the net to make it a 2-1 game, Then just 54 seconds later the Garnets would score again to tie the game at two on the Henry Bagley goal. The Garnets would keep fighting and actually get the lead at the 9:21 mark of the period on the Tommy Greenhaw goal. When the teams returned for the third period the Garnets would waste little time expanding their lead to 4-2 on Tommy Greenhaw's second goal of the game. Then just two minutes later the Garnets would strike again to make it a 5-2 game on Henry Bagley second of the night. The Eagles would strike back quickly just 60 seconds later to make it 5-3 and keep interesting down the stretch. Although they wouldn't get any closer as the Garnets would be too much on the day and get empty netter late and secure the 6-3 win. In the winning effort, the Rye Garnet would secure the 2021 Applebees Winter Classic title while the Beekmantown Eagles go to 2-2 on the season. Gallery

It would be the last game of the Applebees Winter Classic and the host Beekmantown Eagles would take on the Rye Garnets. It would be the opening game of the return of the Applebee's Winter Classic and it would see the Rye Garnets and the Northeastern Clinton Cougars. It would be a great start for the Garnets as they would score four times in the opening period from Aidan Cunningham, Reece Dorfman, and Cal McLoughlin (twice). In the second period, the Garnets would stay hot and get another five goals from Lukas Elovaara, Cal McLoughlin (a third of the night), Henry Bagley (twice), and Kevin Curran while Reid LaValley would score for the Cougars to get them on the board and make it 9-1 after the second period. In the third period, the Garnets would stay hot as they would get another four goals from Liam Draddy, Foster Richardson, and Dempsey Brown (twice and get the 13-1 victory.
