The game would start well for the home Dynamo, as they would get the opening goal from Ashtyn Catlin at the 3:01 mark of the period. The Knights would answer just 26 seconds later on the Alexandre Maniakhine goal to make it a 1-1 game. The Dynamo would have their own answer, retaking the lead at 2-1 on a Brock Spaulding goal, and that's how the first period would end, 2-1 Dynamo. The Knights would come back to tie the game at two on the Benoit Gagnon goal at the 3-07 mark. Then at the 10:49 mark of the period, he Knights wwould takethe 3-2 lead on the Raphael Lizotte ppower-play goal Then in the 13th minute of the period the Dynamo would get two goals in 38 seconds from Elkhan Abibekov and Tanner Hamilton as they retake the 4-3 lead, Then with just 1:26 left in the period the Knights would tie for the third time thanks to Noah St-Laurent and that's how the second ended. The Knights would come out swinging in the third period, and just 15 seconds in, take the 5-4 lead thanks to Cooper Martinea. The Dynamo would not give up, though, as they came back again and tied the game at five on Colton Warren's goal at the 6:32 mark of the period. Then, with just 20 seconds left in regulation, the Dynamo would bang in the game-winner once again from Colton Warren for the 6-5 victory. In the winning effort, the Dynamo's Cade Kavanuagh made 42 saves as they improved to 13-19 on the season. It would be a divisional matchup in the St. Lawrence Division of the United States Premier Hockey League, with the New York Dynamo hosting the Universel Sherbrooke at the AC North Arena. The game would stay there until the 9:20 mark of the second period, when the Dynamo would score again, this time from John Duffy, to give them the 2-0 lead. Sherbrook would answer back at the 14:14 mark of the period on the Charles Eric Leger goal to cut the deficit to 2-1. However, the Dynamo would answer back just over a minute later, as Maddox Heise scored too, making it a 3-1 game. Then, with just under 30 seconds left in the period, the Dynamo would extend their lead to 4-1 on Elkhan Abibekov's 5th goal of the season. The game would stay there until the 9:24 mark of the third period, when Elkhan Abibekov would score again for his 6th of the season, making it a 5-1 game. Sherbrooke would have answered with 1:54 left in the game, as Ty Mulcahy would score to make it 5-2. However, the Dynamo would have one last one in them, as Colton Warren made it a 6-2 win on his 14th of the season.
