Northern Adirondack Conference Boy's Hockey Malone Huskies Vs #13 Norwood Norfolk Icemen February 10th 2014

Malone's Johan Eksing (6) with the body check into the corner on the Norwood-Norfolk defender as they go for the loose puck. The Malone Huskies would meet up with the Norwood-Norfolk Icemen in Section X Division 2 action. The Icemen would waste little time in taking the 1-0 lead at the three-minute mark of the first period from Colby Munson. The game would stay there till 12:23 of the period when Brandon Palmer would make it 2-0 Icemen. Then in the final minute of the first period, Johan Eksing would score for the Huskies on the power play to make it 2-1. The Icemen would regain the two-goal lead at 3-1 2:30 into the second period on Zeb Brown's goal. The Icemen would extend the lead to 4-1 at 8:40 on Shane Cryderman's goal. The Icemen would continue at the 13:17 mark and make it 5-1 on Austin Cousineau's goal. In the third period, it would be more of the same as the Icemen would score at 2:11 Coby Munson's second goal of the night to make it 6-1. Then at 5:30 of the period, the Icemen would make it 7-1 on Tristen Harvey's goal. Then at 10:29, the Huskies would finally light the lamp again on Bailey Conklin's power-play goal to make it 7-2. Then just to finish it off Icemen's Zeb Brown would get his second of the night to secure the 8-2 victory. Malone's Trevor Henderson (44) with the hard open-ice hit on St. Lawerence's Drew Rose (16) just outside the blue line. The Malone Huskies would host the St. Lawrence Larries in Section X Division II action. The St. Lawrence Larries would take the 1-0 lead at the 12:21 mark of the first period on Drew Rose's goal to give the Larries the 1-0 lead. The game would stay there until 9:48 of the second when Larries Luckas Arrquiett's goal to make it 2-0. Then just over three minutes later the Larries would make it 3-0 on Nick Kowalchuk's goal. Then at 2:42 mark of the third period, Jake Henning would get the Huskies on the board at 3-1. Then 6:24 of the period Drew Rose would score his second of the night to secure the Larries 4-1 win. Malone Huskies Vs Northeastern Clinton Cougars January 21 2014
Northeastern Clinton's Anthony Piche (1) with the pad save that he sends to corner. The Malone Huskies would host the Northeastern Clinton Cougars in non-league action. The game would remain scoreless until the 7:49 mark of the second when Mason Letourneau would get the opening goal for the Cougars to make it 1-0. The Cougars would extend the lead to 2-0 on Ryan Marks's unassisted goal in the final minute of the period. In the third period, the Huskies would fight and cut the lead to 2-1 on Jordan Schraf with under five minutes left in the game. The Cougars would secure the 3-1 victory with 3:43 left on Mason Latourneau's second goal of the game. The Huskies would take the early 1-0 lead on Bailey Conklin's goal at 1:35 of the first. The Huskies would extend the lead to 2-0 on Kyler Head's goal at 12:04 of the first. Then with just over a minute left in the first Cam Morgan would cut the Huskies lead in half at 2-1. The Huskies would quickly regain the two-goal lead at 1:25 of the second on Kyler Head's second goal of the game at 3-1. Then at 6:10 of the second Jake Henning would extend the Huskies lead to 4-1. In the third period, the Islanders would try and get back in the game at 8:44 on a short-handed goal by Garrett Denny to make it 4-2 and that's where the game would finish. Malone's Morgan Fountain (3) takes flight for the wide-open lay upon the breakout. The Malone Huskies would host the Gouvenour Wildcats in Section X Central Division action. The story of the game would be the Huskies full-court defense and it would be evident by the first quarter with a 22-9 lead. It would be more of the same in the second quarter as the Huskies won the quarter 19-1 and took a 41-10 lead into the break. In the second half it would be more of the same they took the half 33-11 and get the 74-21. In the winning effort, Rachel Lamica would lead the way with 15 points as the Huskies stay undefeated at 10-0 on the season. Gallery

The Shamrocks would break the ice and get the opening goal from Tye Terrance at 2:12 mark for the early lead. The Huskies would answer back at the 6:03 mark of first to tie the game at one Trevor Cooley's goal. That is where the game would stay all the way until 4:40 mark of the third when the Shamrocks would take the 2-1 lead on Sean David's goal. The Shamrocks would extend the lead to 3-1 on Sean David's second goal of the night. Then to finish it off for good measure Salmon River's Chad George would score with under three minutes left to secure the 4-1 win.
