Malone's Rachel Lamica (2) rises up and gets the block on the Tupper Lake attacker to stop their rally. The Malone Huskies would host the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks in there home opener of there Section X season. The Huskies would make quick work of the Lumberjacks getting the quick three-game win in just under an hour. The Huskies would win the games by scores of 25-9, 25-16, 25-10. Leading the way for the Huskies would be Whitney Legacy and Rachel Lamica as the Huskies go to 3-0 on the season. Gallery

The Malone Huskies would start the home portion of there season against rival Salmon River Shamrocks. It would be a very tightly contested game with many scoring chances on both sides. Malone's Abby McCauley (6) in the midst of her wind up as she would pitch the complete game shutout and strike out eight. The Malone Huskies would host Central Division foe Massena Red Raiders. The game would remain scoreless until the third inning when the Huskies would erupt with six runs. The game would remain there until the 5th when the Huskies would get five more and make it 11-0. Then in the sixth the Huskies would finish off the game with four more to get the 15-0 victory in six. Leading the way for the Huskies offensively was Morgan Fountain who went 2-3 with 2 RBI's On the mound Abby McCauley would get the complete game shutout victory while striking out eight. The Bears would get the early 1-0 lead in the first although the Huskies would answer right back with two in the bottom of the inning to give the Huskies a 2-1 lead after the first. The Huskies would add a run in the third inning to make it 3-1. Then in the sixth, the Huskies would add to more to put the game out of reach and secure the 5-1 win. Leading the way for Huskies would be Janelle Headen with two rbi's along with Erin McDonald with two hits. Abby Sharlow would go five innings striking out five for the win. Malone's Jordan Yando (14) makes contact on the pitch and sends it to the outfield for the base hit. he Malone Huskies would open up there season at home against fellow central division team Ogdensburg Blue Devils. The Huskies would get four runs in the opening inning thanks to three walks from the Blue Devils. The score would stay there till the third when the Huskies would get four more runs thanks to walks again to make it 8-0. The Blue Devils would get on the broad in the fourth to make it 8-1. The Blue Devils continue there comeback with two more in the 5th to make it 8-3. Then in the sixth, the Blue Devils would get even closer and make it tight down the stretch with four in the inning. The Huskies would shut them down in the seventh to hold on for the 8-7 win. Alex Johnson would help the Huskies get the win with a couple rbi's at the plate.
