The first game of the doubleheader would be a tight one but would go to the home Cardinals 4-3. They would enter the second game looking for the sweep on the day and would start off well as they would have a four-run first inning led by Julia Golino's RBI double. Then in the second inning, the Cardinals would add a pair of runs to extend their lead to 6-0 helped by Claire Palmer's rbi single. In the third inning, the Cardinal bats would stay hot and get two more runs and extend their lead to 10-0. In the fourth inning, the Cardinal bats would explode though as they would get six runs led by 2 runs sacrifice fly by Mikayla Manalo. The game would be called after the fifth inning due to the mercy rule as the Cardinals get the 16-0 win. In the winning effort, Julia Golino would get the complete game shutout as she scattered three hits on the day while striking out three as the Cardinals go to 18-6 on the season. Gallery
