It would be a matchup in Girls Basketball section VII, with the Lake Placid Blue Bombers and Seton Catholic Knights battling, as they have just a couple of weeks left in the regular season and are going for that all-important playoff seeding. It would be a slow start for both teams as they looked to gain their footing, as the Blue Bombers would have the 7-6 lead at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Blue Bombers would find their footing as they would have an 11-6 quarter and take the 18-12 lead into the intermission. When the teams returned for the second half, it was a defensive contest, with the Blue Bombers holding on for a 7-5 halftime lead and a 25-17 victory.
