Then, just about three minutes later, the Cardinals would return and tie the game at three on Lonan Bulger's second goal. Then, with just under six minutes left in the game, the Cardinals would get the lead on Patrick Cole's tip goal and take the 4-3 lead. Then, with 50 seconds left in the game, the Cardinals would get the empty-netter from Jake Sacratini to secure the 5-3 victory. The game would be tight through the first half as the Cardinals would have the 45-40 lead in a breakneck pace game after the first half. In the second half, it would come down to the last 10 seconds of the game as the Cardinals would come down and hit a layup from Ikechukwu Ezikea to give them the 75-74 lead. But then the Bears would take the inbound pass with three seconds left, and Nicholas Cortez would hit a three-pointer for the win past half court to beat the buzzer as the Bears got the 77-75 victory. In the winning effort, the Bears' Nicholas Cortez would lead the team with 27 points as they go to 3-14 on the season and head into their next game against the Morrisville State Mustangs.
