Northeastern Clinton's Tess Dumas (00) with the game-clinching stop in penalty kicks on Saranac's Madison Gagnier's shot attempt. It would be the section VII Class B Girl's Soccer championship from Suny Plattsburgh State Fied house, and it would feature the top two seeds with the #2 Northeastern Clinton Cougars and the #1 Sarana Spartans for the right to enter the New York State Girls Soccer championship. Both teams would have their chances throughout the evening, but neither team would be able to score through regulation, and over time, neither team would be able to get the ball in the net. So the game would need to head to penalty kicks, and in the seventh round, we would get our winner as the Northeastern Clinton Cougars would get the win. And go to 6-8-2 on the season as they will play #2 Mechanicville in the opening round of the New York State Tournament. The Saranac Spartans' season will end on 7-6-3 the season. Gallery

Plattsburgh's Amaya Abellard (13) with the goal as she beats Saranac's Latla Pellerin (1) for the goal. We would have a match-up inside the top of Girl's Soccer action for Section All, be it one team from Class A and the other from B inside Section VII, as the #20 Plattsburgh Hornets would host the #16 Saranac Chiefs in their last game of the regular season. The home Hornets would get off to the early lead on the 6th-minute goal from Bailey Hewson to give them the early 1-0 lead. The Hornets would waste little time expanding their lead to 2-0 on Bailey Hewson's second goal of the game in the 18th minute, and that's how the scoring would end for the 1st half. Then, when the teams returned for the second half, the Hornets would take control of the game in the 48th minute when Amaya Abellard scored to take the 3-0 lead, and that's where the scoring would end. In the winning effort, the Plattsburgh Hornets would finish their regular season at 12-3 and enter the Section VII Class A playoffs as the #2 seed. As for the Saranac Spartans, they will go to 7-6-2 during a nonsectional game against the Canton Bears on Wednesday to finish off the regular season. Gallery
