The Red Storm would get the match's opening goal in the 31st minute from number 7 as they would take the 1-0 lead, and that's how the first half would end. When the teams returned for the second half, the Knights would answer in the 43rd minute to tie the game at one. The game would only stay tied briefly as the Red Storm would answer back in the 46th minute to retake the lead at 2-1 on the goal from 16. The Red Storm would keep their foot on the accelerator, adding three more goals down the stretch to give themselves the 5-1 win. The Red Storm would improve their record to 6-3-1 on the season as they will have their next game against Ticonderoga on October 9th. As for the Knights, they are still looking for their first win as they go to 0-9 on the season and will be back in action on October 9th as they will travel to Moriah for a game against the Vikings.
