The Golden Knights would finally get into the scoring act two minutes later when Jared Mangan scored the powerplay for his fourth season, and that's where the first period would end. The game would stay there till the 8:57 mark of the second period when the Golden Knights found the equalizer from Ryan Richardson for his fourth of the season and tied the game. That would be the last of the scoring for regulation, and the next 32 minutes would go without a goal. So the teams would head to the overtime, and for some three-on-three hockey, at the 1:57 mark of the period, Graham Gamache would get the game-winner and his third goal of the season. In the winning effort for the Friar, Phillipp Svedeback made 23 saves as they went to 9-3-2 in the season and played for the St. Lawrence Saints tomorrow to finish the tournament. As for the Golden Knights, Ethan Langenegger would make 28 saves as they fall to 9-5-1 and will have another top-20 opponent tomorrow as they will take on the Massachusetts Lowell Riverhawks.
