Lake Placid Blue Bombers @ Seton Catholic Knights October 18th 2024
With the shot on net, Lake Placid's (9) would have one of the two Blue Bombers goals as they get the 2-0 lead. It would be senior day at Seton Catholic, where they would celebrate the first class of seniors to play on their new school field at halftime and host the Lake Placid Blue Bombers. The game would be tight through the first half as both teams would have their chances, but no one could put in the net for a score. When the teams returned for the second half, the Blue Bombers answered early with a goal in the 49th minute to give them the 1-0 lead. Then, in the game's closing minutes, the 76th to be exact, the Blue Bombers would add a second goal to secure the 2-0 win. In the winning effort, the Lake Placid Blue Mombers would go to 6-7-1 on the season as they head into their weekend contest against the Northern Adirondack Bobcats. As for the Knights, they will stay winless as they fall to 0-14 on the season and head into their road contest against section 4 Groton Cardinals on Tuesday. Gallery
Saranac Lake Red Storm @ Seton Catholic Knights October 7th 2024
Saranac Lake's (7) with the shot on net as she would have a hat trick on the afternoon as the Red Storm get the 5-1 victory. It would be Section VII girl's Soccer action from Seton Catholic as the Knights would host the Saranac Lake Red Storm on the pitch. The Red Storm would get the match's opening goal in the 31st minute from number 7 as they would take the 1-0 lead, and that's how the first half would end. When the teams returned for the second half, the Knights would answer in the 43rd minute to tie the game at one. The game would only stay tied briefly as the Red Storm would answer back in the 46th minute to retake the lead at 2-1 on the goal from 16. The Red Storm would keep their foot on the accelerator, adding three more goals down the stretch to give themselves the 5-1 win. The Red Storm would improve their record to 6-3-1 on the season as they will have their next game against Ticonderoga on October 9th. As for the Knights, they are still looking for their first win as they go to 0-9 on the season and will be back in action on October 9th as they will travel to Moriah for a game against the Vikings. Northern Adirobdack Bobcats @ Seton Catholic Knights October 1st 2024
Northern Adirondack's Kelsey Magoon (3) shows off their dribbling skills, gets around Seton Catolic's Dayline Willette (7), and drives to the net. It would be ChamplanValley Athletic Conference girls's Soccer action from the new Seton Catholic field. The Seton Catholic Knights would host the Northern Adirondack Bobcats. The Bobcats would get on the board first just 4 minutes into the game on the goal from Rielyn Nutt for the early 1-0 lead. The game would stay there till the 29-minute mark when the Bobcats would expand their lead to 2-0 on the Mandy McKinney goal and that's where they would end the first half of play. When the teams returned for the second half the Bobcat would stay hot and get three goals in the first ten minutes of the half from Ava Moore and Rielyn Nutt as they would take a commanding 5-0 lead. That is where the game would stay till the Knights would break the shutout bid in the last minute of the game on the Julia Padd goal to make it a 5-1 final and win for the Bobcats as they go to 5-2-1 on the season and the Knights fall to 0-7, Gallery
Moriah Vikings @ Seton Catholic Knights September 17th 2024
Moriah's Amelia Kazlo (5) battles for the ball in the box with Seton Catholic's (8) as Kazlo would have six goals on the afternoon. We would have Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Girl's Soccer from St. Peters Church as the host Seton Catholic Knights would take on the Moriah Vikings. This would be a game that the Vikings would be in control of from start to finish. The Vikings would be throttled down in the first half as they would light the lamp seven times in the half Amelia Kazlo would score four times in the half, and Emma Harrington would get one. Then when the teams returned for the second half the Vikings would take their foot off the gas as they got three goals in the half Amelia Kazlo would have a couple more to finish with 6 goals on the day and the Vikings would hold on for the 10-0 win as they go to Vikings would go to 3-0 on the season and the Knights fall to 0-3 on the season. Ticonderoga Sentinels @ Seton Catholic Knights September 10th 2024
It would be a pair of eighteens going after the loose ball at midfield. It would be an early-season matchup in Section VII Girl's Soccer. We would have an interconference affair from St. Peter's in Plattsburgh as the Seton Catholic Knights would host the Ticonderoga Sentinels in action. The Sentinels would start hot and have the 4-0 lead after the first half of play. When the teams returned for the second half it would be more of the same for the Sentinels as they would add another six goals and cruise to the 10-0 victory. In the victory for the Sentinels, they would have three players that would have multi-goal games as they would even up their record at 1-1 while the Knights would start their season at 0-1. Gallery

The Knights get there third goal of the game to retake the two goal lead in the closing stages of the game to secure the victory. It would be a interleague tilt as the Seton Catholic Knights from the Mountain Valley Athletic Conference would host the Saranac Lake Red Storm from the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference in Girl's Soccer action. The game would start off good for the Knights as they would get two unaswered in the first half and take a 2-0 lead into the break. In the second half the teams would trade a pair of goals. With that the Seton Catholic Knights would hold for the 3-1 victory. In the winning effort the Knights would get there first win of the season at 1-2 while the Red Storm fall to 2-3 on the season. Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Girl's Soccer Peru Nighthawks @ Ausable Valley Patriots September 6th 2022
Peru's netminder with the fingertip save on the shot that was head to the far corner. It would be home opener for last years defending New York State class C Champions as they would host neighbor the Peru Nighthawks in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference action. The game would start off good for the Patriots as they would get six goals in the first half from Kate Knapp, Sara Richards, Kaydence Hoehn (twice), Addie Stanley, and Jillian Beizo. In the second half it would be more of the same as they would add another four goals from Lilley Keyser, Kaydence Hoehn (third and fourth of the night) and Addie Stanley (second of the night) to finish of the Nighthawks. In the winning effort the Patriots go to 1-1 on the season while Nighthawks go to 0-3 on the early season. Gallery

Plattsburgh Hornets @ Saranac Chiefs September 7th 2022
Saranac's Sydney Myers (10) breaks in on the breakaway and beats the goalie near side as part of a five goal game. It would be a Champlain Valley Athletic Conference game in Girl's Soccer action that would he the Saranac Chiefs hosting the Plattsburgh Hornets. It would be a game that the Chiefs will not soon forget as they would totally control the Hornets as they would go on for the 13-0 victory. In the winning effort the Syndey Myers would score five goals and Oliva Davis would add two more and the rest would divided up over 6 players. As the Chiefs will start the season off at 1-0 and the Hornets fall to 2-2 as they head into the second week of play and will look to the right the ship. Gallery

Peru Nighthawks Vs Plattsburgh Hornets August 31st 2022
Peru's goalie with the save on the long distance shot on net. It would be the start of the high school girl's soccer season with the Jan Davis Memorial Tournament at Chazy High School as the Plattsburgh Hornets would take on the Peru Nighthawks. The game would start great for the Nighthawks as they would strike twice in the first with goals from Duprey and Phillips for the 2-0 lead at the intermission. The second half would start off the same way for the Nighthawks as in the 46th minute Duprey would get her second of the game to make it a 3-0 Nighthawks. Then in the 54th minute the Hornets would get on the board with a Amaya Abellard goal to make it 3-1. Then just six minutes later Abellard would strike again and make it 3-2 with 20 minutes left in the game. Then with just just over eight minutes left in the game the Hornets would strike again from Abellard to tie the game at three and finish off her hat trick. Then inside the final minute of the game Bailey Hewson would strike to give the Plattsburgh Hornets the 4-3 victory and advance to the championship against Chazy. Gallery
