In the third period, the Cardinals would have their best offensive period of the night as they would have nine shots on the net and pull the goalie with about three minutes left in the net, but they would not be able to find the back of the net on this day. The Canton Kangaroos would pull off the 2-0 upset on the evening as Nate Hopkins would make 23 saves in a shutout victory as they go to 6-12-1 on the season and take on neighbor the Potsdam State Bears tomorrow night.
