There would be three wide races in the Be Cool Heating and AC 358 Modifieds as Chris Raabe (01) and Tim Fuller (19) would split Greg Atkins (1NY) as they battle inside the Top 5. After nearly two weeks off at the Airborne Speedway, the track would come back to life with Thursday Night Thunder with the track's four main divisions the Be Cool Heating and AC 358 Modifieds, J+S Steel Sportsman Modified, 9th State Cannabis Renegades and the Moore Recycling Mini Stocks along with it being the popular rides night. After the heats and the last chance qualifiers were in the books it would be onto the features on the evening and the first one on tap for the night would be the Be Cool Heating and AC 358 Modifieds for their 30-lap race it would take the race a little bit to get going as there would be a few early race cautions but when it did would see a battle up front between Justin Stone and Mike Mahaney and in the end the win would go to Justin Stone as it would be his first career win inside a 358 Modified. Then we would have the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified and there 25 lap race for most of the race it would be a battle between Charlotte Morin and Pat Miner but there would be caution as the teams were coming to the checkered and it would setup a 2 lap showdown and in the end they would not get a great start and the battle would be on between Donovan Lussier and Nick Heywood with Lussier coming out on top for the third time this season. Then we would have the 9th State Cannabis Renegades for 20 laps and see early season points leader Tylor Terry have a problem in the early portions of the race and get credited with a last-place finish. As for the race up front for the checkered flag, it would see Zack Daniels making a late race charge on Nathaniel Guay but it would come up short as Nathaniel Guay would get his second win of the season. Then to finish off the night it would be a pair of features for the Moore Recycling Mini Stocks in the first feature it would be a battle up front between Rich Doner, Nick Harden, and Kris Clark with the win going to Doner for the first win of the season. Then in the second feature, it would be a wire-to-wire win for Caleb Tourville to finish the night. The track will be back in action on July 3rd with their Independence Day Spectacular as they celebrate the 70th anniversary of Airborne Park Speedway. Gallery
