Plattsburgh State's Ankush Malhotra (21) with the runner down the lane that he sends his defender to the ground. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would be back in action tonight against fellow north country foe as they would take on the St. Lawrence Saints. The game would not start off the greatest though for the home Cardinals as they would be playing catch up with the Saints throughout the half and the Saints would have a 41-33 lead after the first half. When the teams would come back for the second half the Cardinals would try the best to keep the game close as it would be under a five point defecit a few times in the half but that would be cloest they could get as the Saints would win the half 36-32 and hold on for the 77-65 win. Although the Cardinals would lose Kevin Tabb would lead all scores with 22 points as the Cardinals fall to 1-2 while the Saints would get there season started with a win. Gallery
