The Ticonderoga Sentinels pose for there team photo as they crowned the 2018 Section VII Class C Champions. The #1 Ticonderoga Sentinels would take on the #2 N.A.C. Bobcats in the Championships of Section VII Class C. The Sentinels would race out to an early lead at 16-7 after the first quarter. In the second quarter, they would increase the lead with a 16-10 quarter for a 32-17 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter they would extend the lead with a 9-6 quarter for 41-23 lead. In the fourth quarter, the Bobcats would do there best to get back in it winning the quarter 15-11. Although it wouldn't be enough as the Sentinels would get the 52-41 victory and advance to the New York State Tournament. Gallery.

It would be Section VII Wrestling Championships from Saranac with all five schools competing for the right to head to the state finals in Albany. At the end of the day and the fifteen weight classes were done the team champion would be Saranac. As for the outstanding wrestler at the meet, the win would go to Chance Lapier from Ausable Valley. It would be Section VII Wrestling Championships from Saranac with all five schools competing for the right to head to the state finals in Albany. The Northern Adirondack Bobcats would meet up with the Madrid Waddington Yellow Jackets in the first round of the New York State Class C basketball championships. The Bobcats would jump out to the quick 16-9 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter the Bobcats would extend there lead by winning the quarter 11-6 and have a 27-15 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the second half it would be more of the same as the Bobcats win the quarter 13-6 and have a 40-21 lead. In the fourth quarter the Bobcats would step back a bit and the Jackets would win the quarter 15-6. Although the Northern Adirondack Bobcats would hold on for the 46-36 victory and advance to the quarterfinals. Gallery

In the fourth quarter, Ticonderoga would pull away and win the quarter 14-8 and get the 51-43 victory. Adam Venne,13, for NAC scored at 0:59 into the game, no assist; ELW lone goal was by #9 Joel Morris, assisted by #22 Noah Farrell at 21:06 in the 1st; NAC would score again at 24:38 by #11 Jared Brunelle. In the 2nd half, NAC would score one more time by #4 Bryce Labarge, assisted by #16 Stephen Peryea at 61:26.
