Plattsburgh State's Kathleen Payne (23) rises up for the opening tip and wins it and starts the breakout. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Buffalo State Bengals in SUNYAC action. The game would be low scoring throughout the first thanks to tight defense on both sides. The Bengals would take the slim the 28-27 lead into the break. In the second half, the Cardinals would solve the Bengals defense as they would outscore them 44-32 in the second half and get the 71-60 victory.
