The Cardinals would be able to expand the lead to 2-0 four minutes later on the goal by Rich McCartney. From that point on the Cardinals would go into defensive mode and get the 2-0 win. The Cardinals wouldn't waste anytime as they would get three goals in the first period from Ashley Songin, Annie Katonka and Nicole Unsworth for the 3-0 lead. In the second period the Cardinals would strike for two more coming from Mackenzie Millen and Annie Katonka to make it a 5-0 Cardinals lead. The Cardinals would add one more in the third period from Moe Tsukimoto to secure the 6-0 victory. Plattsburgh State's Liam Lawson (39) draws back and puts it in the top shelf for the Cardinal goal. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host SUNYAC foe Buffalo State Bengals in conference action. Mike Falanga would get the scoring going early as he would give the Cardinals a 1-0 lead two minutes into the game. Although the game would stay like that until the 9:51 mark of the second period when Liam Lawson would score on the power play to make it 2-0. Then in the closing five minutes of the period the Bengals would score twice on the same power play to tie the game up heading into the final period. In the final period, the Bengals would take the lead on a goal in the final four minutes to make it 3-2 and would later add the empty netter to secure the 4-2 victory. In the losing effort Jimmy Peorda would make 35 stops as the Cardinals fall to 11-11 on the season. Gallery.

Plattsburgh State's Chris Middleton (2) charges hard to the basket and takes it right to the defender's chest for two of his seventeen points. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Buffalo State Bengals in SUNYAC play. This would be a game that the Cardinals would dominate from start to finish. The Cardinals would cruise out to a 56-34 lead at the intermission. The Bengals would do there best to try and get back into it but the Cardinals would be too much as they would win the second half 39-34 and secure the 95-68 victory. In the winning effort, Eli Bryant would lead the way with 23 points as the Cardinals go to 3-2 on the season. Gallery
