NYSPHSAA Class C North Regional Semi-finals Boy's Basketball: #25 Lisbon Golden Knights Vs Northern Adirondack Bobcats March 11th 2026

It would be the opening round of the New York State Public High School Athletic Assocation Class C Boy's Basketball Tournament and it would feature the #25 Lisbon Golden Knights and the Northern Adirondack Bobcats from the Florrence Gym at Clinton Community College with the winner getting Section II. It would be tight game through the first quarter as the teams would feel each other out the Bobcats would have the slight 11-9 lead. In the second quarter the Bobcats would find there shot and they would start to pull away with a 19-9 quarter and take the 30-18 lead at the intermission. When the teams would return for the third quarter the Bobcats would still have there hot hand as they would have a 21-6 and take the 51-24 lead into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter with the game pretty much all determined the Golden Knights would have a 18-13 but the Northern Adirondack Bobcats would get the 64-42 victory. In the winning effort the Bobcats Luke Moore would lead the way with 19 points as they go to 16-8 on the season and advance to the quarterfinals. In the losing effort for the Golden Knights Ian Quinlan leads the way with 15 points as they finish there season at 14-7. Gallery

The Lisbon Golden Knights celebrate after defeating the Moriah Vikings 32-30 and advancing to the Quarterfinals on Saturday against Greenwich. It would be the opening round of the NYSPHSAA Class C Girls' Basketball Tournament. We would have a battle inside the top ten as the #8 Lisbon Golden Knights from Section X would do battle with the #10 Moriah Vikings from Section VII at the Florence Gym at Clinton Community, with the winner advancing to Section II in the Quarterfinals. It would be a defensive battle to start the game, as both teams looked to control the paint on defense. The Golden Knights would have a slim 10-8 lead after the first quarter. It would stay low-scoring through the second quarter as well, but the Vikings would win the quarter 7-6, and the Golden Knights would have the 16-15 lead at intermission. When the teams returned for the third quarter, it would remain a defensive battle, and the Golden Knights would have an 8-7 quarter and take the 24-22 lead into the fourth. In the fourth quarter, both teams would have chances to win and advance, but they would tie the quarter at 8, and the Golden Knights would get the 32-30 victory and go to the Quarterfinals. In the Golden Knights' victory, they went to 18-5, with Allison Bell leading the way with 19 points, as they head to the quarterfinals against Greenwich. As for the Moriah Vikings, Lezi Macarenas would lead the way with 12 points as their season comes to an end. Gallery
