The Padres continue their winning ways as they gain the weekend sweep against the Athletics and have now won 7 out of their last 8 games. They would use speed and the long ball for the wins as they won game #1 10-6 and take game 2 11-5. With the win, the Padres move into sole position of second place and are two games behind the Cardinals.
