The game would stay there till the 4:49 mark of the second when Riley Keller would score to increase the Cardinal lead to 2-0. The Cardinals would keep on the gas and extend their lead to 3-0 about 5 minutes later on the Bailey MacKellar goal. The Cardinals would finish off the game at the 16:28 mark of the third period, as Piper Smith became the fourth different scorer of the game.
