The game would stay there till the 2:21 mark of the third period when the Cardinals would find the back of the net, this time from Tessa Morris, for the 2-0 lead. From there, the Cardinals would shut down the Lakers and get the 2-0 win. In the winning effort on the afternoon, Chloe Lewis recorded the shutout as she has 28 saves, and the Cardinals go to 9-2-1 on the season, and they will take on the Lakers again tomorrow.
